What you know about the character you're applying for. Anakin started out as a very kind and caring boy who only wanted to be something other then a slave. He offered to help anyone he could when he could. Anakin is very good with his hands and doing repairs and building things. He has very quick reflexes which allows him to be able to race Pods for Watto, his owner. As a teenager, Anakin is very impatient even for a Jedi Padawan. He is very gifted with the force and believes that he should be able to advance faster then he is. He is also very self sure and tends to show off a bit even around his master. Since he was 9 he has secretly been in love with Padme Amidala the former queen of Naboo. At the age of 19 they are secretly wed.

I sat on the dirty wall tinkering with the small pit droid I had on my lap. It had gone berserk a little while ago and started chasing Watto around the shop trying to ‘fix’ him. It took all of my effort not to laugh at him, because I knew that if I had he would have made me regret it. So instead I snatched the droid up and ran out of the room saying that I’d fix it. I had heard him calling back not to return until I had. I was glad though, because that gave me time to be outside during the day. I liked fixing things anyway, it made me feel good to do so. Life was always better when I was fixing things.
The twin suns were already high in the Tatooine sky as my friends approached me slowly. I smiled and set the droid down beside me leaping off of the wall. “Hey guys.” I greeted kindly.
“Hey Ani, what are you doing outside so early?” one of them asked.
I smiled and pointed to the droid before explaining to them what happened. I was glad that I had because we all got to laugh together about it. I had been laughing to myself about from the moment I had stepped out of hearing range of Watto. It felt good to have something to laugh about. It was a release from the pressures of slave life on the desert planet. I looked up at the sky and thought that one day, I would be up there on another planet just like the other pilots I spoke to in the local cantina. I would be a pilot too one day.
Tell us about the real you. My name is Elizabeth, also known as Izzy, and I am 29 years old. I’ve been following and reading Star Wars since 2008 when my late friend Danny boy gave me his set of X-Wing books and I got the Jedi Search trilogy. I currently own over 50 Star Wars books and all 7 movies. Hopefully I will soon have season one of the Clone Wars as well. I also like Star Trek, Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Heroes, Lord of the Rings and many other such related things. I live in Louisiana which is kind of like a grassy wet version of Tatooine when it comes to the summer heat. Eck.
