It had been years since she'd been here... but yet, to Leia, those years only seemed like days. And those days were hardly long enough. The last time she had been to this planet had been during the years that she was working to overthrow the Death Star. Years before she and her husband, Han Solo, were together. But, even with it being so long agao, the emotions she felt then were still just the same. And, every memory she had of this planet wasn't a good one. Leia was hoping that they could be gone soon.
The only reason that they had been here at all was to tie up some lose ends. Han had needed to speak with an old friend. Someone that he worked for here on Tatooine during the years of Jabba the Hutt. Somehow, he had managed to talk Leia into joining him on this trip. Leia had assured him that she had just joined him because she loved him and didn't want him to go alone... but, in reality, Leia still had issues trusting Han to not get himself into trouble, especially on this planet. It was adventures like they'd had the last time that they had been on Tatooine that kept Leia awake at night.
The last time she had been on this godforsaken planet, she had been forced into slavery by Jabba the Hutt. Plus, Han had gotten into a bunch of trouble with Jabba the Hutt and had been put into some carbonite mold. The entire mission had ended with Leia strangling Jabba the Hutt and all of them somehow making it out. Leia didn't ever want to relive such a day.
"Leia, are you waiting here?"
At her husband's words, Leia jumped. She shook her head and carefully stepped out after him, an eye roll soon following. "I didn't come all this way to wait here, Han." She carefully adjusted her gloves, her hand already on her waist where her weapons were stashed. "Let's just get this over with."
Han seemed to roll his eyes, but she reached for his hand anyways. The two then started off toward the nearby building. The pit of Leia's stomach was already feeling ill, but she held her head high regardless. With any luck, this would all be over soon.

Hi there! So, my name is Maddie, but you can just call me Mars or Leia. I'm going to be seventeen on Wednesday, and I've loved Star Wars for years now. Since I was a little girl, it was always one of my all time favorite movies. Princess Leia was always my favorite character.
