Name: Luke Skywalker
age group: Adult
What you know about the character you're applying for.
Get inside their heads:
They say the Force, it works in mysterious ways. Well it probably is very much so true, it does. Though no one can exactly predict why or how, not alwyas anyway. Sure there may be a vision of the future, but that does not mean all the details are laid out before you. Not all the peices are ever given, that would be way to simple. But its those snippets of what will be that make every bit of difference. It what we do with them that determine the best course of action. Thats when we trust in the force and hope that what we do will be for the better of our consequences.
I found myself on a very familar planet. But how could I be there, I was far away from the planet as could be. But yet there I was, walking its dark, swampy, massiveness. However, this time, R2 wasn't with me. I was there alone, and unaided. I looked around carefully, noting the familiarity of the place. It was where that I had been trained as a jedi. Where I came to understand and respect a man named Yoda, and had crossed paths with the force ghost of Ben Kenobi. It all came back to me so vividly.
As I walked along I made my way to where I knew that Yoda's old home was. I knew that Yoda wouldn't be there, or so I thought anyway. The man had passed away years proir. It was a false hope to beleive he would be there now. But as I approached, I found myself confronting a lit house. This made me raise a brow. What was it doing lit. I thought that Yoda was the only one to be living on such a planet. Naturally though I got curious.
I had to know why and what was inside. As I got to the building the door opened before I could even touch it. This made me shiver a bit. A sense of the Force touched every fiber of my being. Something seemed very familiar about it as I stepped inside. Once in, I looked around. Standing in the middle of the room was a short, green, pointy eared man who had a very placid look on his face. His eyes however showed wisdom and warmth.
"Master Yoda?" I stated with confusion.
"Young Skywalker." Yoda stated back with a small chuckle. "Good to see you again, it is."
I was floored. Sure I had seen Ben as a force ghost, but Yoda this time. Especially after such a long time. It was almost unbelievable. But at the same time I couldn't deny what I was seeing. Before me was Master Yoda. I had to be dreaming, that was it. It was the most logical deduction. I however, dream or not, was glad to see a familiar face. He gave a sign and went and sat down. It had to be important when someone who had become a part of the force had to talk to me. So I sat down a crossed my legs in front of me.
"It is...good to see you again yourself." he stated calmly. I had certainly come a long way since being an apprentice level. My features were cool and collected, instead of rushed and headstrong.
