Luke gave a chuckle and then made his way back to the cockpit. He knew his son Ben had followed him up. Once there he started on the descent to Telos. It was clearer than most days, but the weather seemed still about as dismal as it had been the past few days. Luke plotted a tajectory for the city where he seemed to be feeling the pull of the force coming from. It was more powerful now that they were there. It was odd, but not too odd to worry. It honestly made Luke curious, much like the way thing made him curious when he was younger. Finally he found a landing port and settled the Jade Shadow down on the bay floor with a slight clink and an audible hiss. He then started to shut down the systems and made sure the door lowered for them to get out.
"Come along.' he stated. "A good look around should do us some good, but remember," he pointed at Ben. "Out of sight out of mind. We don't want to strut around what we are. Our first priority will be supplies, then the rest...."
He trailed off, but the shook his head and regain his composure. Strapping his saber safely tucked away where no one could possibly see he put a cloak over himself and walked out of the cockpit and down the walk off of the ship. There he stood waiting for Ben and looked out at Telos for one of the open hangers. The sounds of other ships buzzed around him as he took in his surroundings.

Ben nodded in understanding as he clipped his lightsaber to the back of his belt before shrugging on a cloak over it. "Yeah, I know dad. Supplies, I got it." he said before following his dad out of the Shadow and to the landing bay.
He looked around and smelled the air. He had never been to Telos before. He had read about it in the archives. There had been a Jedi academy hear thousands of years ago but it had long since been abandoned.
"Well, shall we head out then?" he said clapping his dad on the back and heading for the city center knowing that his father would follow him.

Luke gave a chuckle as he got a good slug on the back and then followed Ben into town. He still kept a watchful eye around him, using the force only lightly to sense any danger than may be around but not visible. Luke had gone from cool dad mode to jedi on duty mode. Gazing around as they made there way down to one of the shop districts, he could still tel there was a presence there in the force that seemed to nag at the back of his mind. One that he couldn't quite get rid of, but he tried to ignore it the best he could and looked to Ben.
"I don't like the idea, but we might be able to get more taken care of if we split ways. I will see what news and items for onboard we'll need, perhaps you can find us a place to eat, get some extra parts if you can find any for the ship, and see what you can find around yourself. Just remember, play it safe." he stated with a nod and started to walk off from Ben and then called back, "If you need anything, you know how to reach me. Don't hesitate if you get into any trouble...." He then left Ben and wandered down the street, mingling in with the throngs of people that were there. Like a mirage he vanished, deep within the city limits of Telos.

Ben nodded and listened as his dad suggested that they go their separate ways. He knew that the man was hesitant, but he had always been when it came to Ben. He was his father first, his master second. He knew that his dad argued internally with himself constantly about what was best for Ben, and best for Ben's training. Ben honored the fact that his father trusted him to do missions on his own in the past. Ben could handle himself in a tight situation. He knew that. He had proved it when with Jacen before he had died. He and Jacen had gone on several dangerous missions. For a boy of 16 Ben Skywalker had seen enough to turn a grown man's hair white.
He watched his dad as he vanished suddenly and turned on his heals. He felt out with the force just enough to keep his danger sense on high alert, and nothing more. If anything were to come for him, he'd sense it. He thought about the supplies that they needed and made his way down the crowded streets. He was thankful that he had given up the Jedi Padawan hairstyle now. He'd have stuck out like a sore thumb in this place if he hadn't.
Ben walked from stall to stall purchasing some small native fruits and placing them in his satchel as he went along. He got some parts from a local shop and put them into a nice hand woven bag he bought from one of the stalls. He continued on just getting things that he could think of that they needed still feeling around in the force for whatever it had been that had drawn them there.

Heart beating he ran as fast as he could, the sounds of yelling behind him. It was not a good day for Jaysin Castyr. He had once again tried to use his "gift" to lure food once more for him and Aiden. In his head he was cursing, bad day, bad day, bad day, very bad day! Why did I listen to Aiden! Food still in hand and other nick knacks he had found for the home, he ran like he had wings on his feet. He leaped over things, slid under things, and dodged the crowd like he was a serpent. It helped that he was a small person from the get go being the age he was. However, what he didn't know was that he was B lining it for the last person he would ever believe to run into, and that was Ben Skywalker. More over he had no idea he would run into him literally. He just hoped that Aiden would find his sorry way home.
"Umph!" he fell over with a clammor, almost dropping everything in sight, just barely catching most of it and dropping only a few items. He looked up at Ben wide eyed, his blue sharp eyes that looked much like Jinns. "I-I-I I'm so sorry..." he stated trailing off while he picked up his things quickly, only glancing back a bit to see if he was still being pursued. Fortunately the tender gave up when Jay got lost too far into the crowd. Things in one hand he helped Ben up as he got up himself. He could tell the boy looked not much older than he was. He tilted his head as he looked at him, for some odd reason when he looked at Ben he felt a sudden surge of somehow knowing him. Though he had never seen Ben in his life. Perhaps it was a dream he had possibly seen him in, but that couldn't be possible, or could it. He didn't think it was, but then again he didn't even know his fullest potential either.
Pulling the items close to him he blushed and said, "I really am sorry."

Ben had been standing at one of the stalls looking at some interesting looking pieces of hand made art, when he suddenly sensed someone coming close. He couldn't react without raising suspicion so instead, he felt the force of being ran into at full speed.
Ben fell over bracing the fall with his hand avoiding using the force out of instinct. He blinked as though in shock and looked at the kid who had knocked him down. When the younger boy got to his feet and helped Ben up apologizing Ben just shook it off, dusting himself off.
"It's okay. Nobody got hurt that's all that matters." Ben said flashing the boy a quick smile.
There was something oddly familiar about the boy, but Ben couldn't quite put a finger on what it was. He raised a brow and held out a hand for the boy to take. "Name's Ben. What's yours?" he asked the boy with a kind smile.

"Jaysin, but you can call me Jay." he replied with a wry smile. He started to tuck some of the things back into his jacket so he could continue on. However, he had no idea if the boy would tell anyone around about his steal on items to survive with. It was well obvious he was a street kid. Mostly from the dirty look he portrayed. But the items he was carrying didn't help any. Yet at the same time he could obviously tell that the boy he had ran into wasn't exactly from around the parts he roamed. This again made him give Ben a curious stare. He debated on saying anything about it.
"You won't tell anyone will you." he stated with a pathetic face hoping that Ben will give him leeway on the stuff he had gotten, he couldn't afford to lose them. Although he was going to give Aiden a royal boot up his butt for ditching him.

Ben nodded down at the scruffy kid in front of him. He smiled kindly at him as he introduced himself. "Well, Jay. It's nice to meet you." Ben said as he shook the boy's hand.
He watched as the boy stuffed the items he had into his jacket. He could tell that the boy was a street urchin. He felt bad for the kid and wished that there was something he could do to help him. When he asked if he was going to tell anyone, and gave him a pathetic look Ben shook his head. "Of course not. Who would I tell? I'm an outsider." he said patting the boy softly on the shoulder.

Jay's eye's went as wide as saucers, outsiders of any sBort intrigued him. But how outsider much outsider was he. On planet, off planet, other? Ben had said the one thing that caught his interest the most just by saying he was an outsider. Although, he didn't want to ask the question of from where, when it probably was none of his concern in the first place. On the other hand the thought would nag at the back of his mind if he didn't take the time to even ask.
"An outsider!" he said with enthusiasm, but not yelling it having forgotten all about the fact that he had just got forgiveness for running into the boy. "Really? From where? Telos? Space? Do you fly a ship?...." He then blushed seeing that he had started rambling as they both had unconciously started wandering together down the market street. "Sorry....again.....guess my curiousity gets the better of me. Eh heh."

Ben couldn't help but to smile at the younger boy's enthusiasm about him being an outsider. He wasn't used to getting that. He just shook his head and chuckled slightly taking in all the questions and comments at once.
"It's okay, my dad was the same way, so I heard. I'm actually from Coruscant. Ever heard of it? My dad and I are just out and about spending some quality time together." Ben lied.
He wasn't about to tell this kid why he was all the way out on Telos. His father asked him not to flaunt what they were, so he wasn't. With that dark presence out there Ben didn't want to take any chances.

So he is from off world, Jay mused to himself. For some reason it did and didn't surprise him at the same time. This boy wasn't much more different than he was, not really. At least the boy had a parent to go roam the galaxy with. Jay was envyous, yet not that rude inconsiderated envy, just the kind where he wished he could be out there like that himself. He thought Ben had to be lucky to be able to roam wherever. What did didn't know was that Ben wasn't all that really lucky. Jay had no idea that they were ex jedi. Oh boy, if he did find out though that they were, he'd probably cling to Ben if he knew the full details what what a jedi was. To him, he then wouldn't feel so alone with the "gifts" he has, for he still didn't understand the term jedi quite yet.
"Off world....nice." he said with a small grin. "I have heard of Coruscant, sorta. Only by ships that come out here to trade though and via minor gossip around the city. It's the only way news travels around here. That and the library has a lot of information on other planets and what not. I go there all the time."
Now how he had not read anything on jedi's was beyond understanding. The only logical thing one could assume was that either it had been taken and removed from the library archives, was there and Jay just never found it, or Jay hadn't thought of looking up what his gifts meant. Either way he had no information on what a jedi was, but he sure did have information on ships, races, and planets all over the known galaxy. Jaysin was an avid reader. Though from his appearance one wouldn't be able to guess that right away off of him.
"So what about you? Ever been to Telos before?" he inquired. "Cause if you haven't you'll find out quickly it can be quite a maze to wander."

Ben nodded and listened as Jay spoke. He seemed to be really excited about the fact that he was an offworlder. He smiled at the boy's enthusiasm before speaking to him once more. "Well it wouldn't surprise me that you've heard of Coruscant. It is the capital of the Republic. I'm sure there are a lot of traders around here." Ben replied to the first bit of Jay's statements.
When he asked if Ben had ever been to Telos before and said that it could be quite a maze to travel through he actually laughed. "No, I've never been to Telos before now, but as far as mazes go, Coruscant is just one gigantic maze. It's a miracle that people don't get lost there, but with technology it's easy to navigate. But trying to fly a speeder through there at high speeds is near about suicidal." Ben said with a slight chuckle.

"Oh I'll bet. Some of the stories I have heard of that place I think are legendary. But most of them are far fetched or over exaggerated usually. Its hard to discern the real from the over done out here. People love making things bigger than they should or would be. That's Telos for you though. Although, I wouldn't suggest roaming around here without some sort of map. There are just some places here you wouldn't want to stumble upon at all. I should know, I have found some of them." he stated getting slightly pale but then quickly trying to return his face to normal.
A part of him wanted to help Ben, but the other part of him didn't want to be too snoopy or curious. After all not everone like locals being into outsiders business. But for some reason he couldn't just pull himself away and say goodbye. Some feeling left him rooted to the floor. Biting his lip he weighed the choices that were in front of him. If on one had he did help Ben he may get the chance to do something productive. On the other hand if he helped he may get into deeper trouble than he could afford. If he didn't help him, he knew he'd be left with the conscience that Ben might get in trouble. On the other hand it wouldn't be his problem either. After a few moments of heavy debate though, he finally gave in to helping him.
"Maybe..." he paused. "....Maybe I could help you?.....You know....get through here? So you don't get lost...."

Ben listened as Jay talked about how the stories about Coruscant varied in scale as to what went on there. He wasn't at the least bit surprised by this bit of news. In fact he had heard a lot of far fetched tales about his own cousin Jacen in his travels. Of course at the time the speakers didn't know that they were in the vicinity with THE Ben Skywalker at the time.
"Yeah. I've heard my share of the tall tales in the cantinas during my travels. It's the same anywhere far from the center of the republic. People who have never even been to Coruscant claim to have seen things there that never happened. It's a wide topic really." Ben replied with a knowing smile.
When Ben heard Jaysin's offer of help he smiled. Such a nice little boy he seemed. Ben nodded and patted Jaysin on the shoulder. "I'd be happy to have your assistance young one. I'm sure my dad would be grateful for a guide as well. Now, I wonder where he's ran off to?" Ben said glancing around for his father. He didn't dare use the force to find him, not knowing that there was a force sensitive somewhere on planet.

"Well I am sure he's around here somewhere. If you tell me what he looks like I can help you look. Where do you have to go to now? Cause I really got to drop this stuff off before I get caught again. My place isn't too far from here. I can drop this stuff off, maybe even retrieve my friend who so lovingly ditched me, and we can go searching. Three heads are better than none or one. What do you say? I drop this off and we go looking. There are a lot of places around here that could interest an outsider." he stated trying to make sure that the stuff in his hands didn't fall out. The hustle and bustle of the streets was starting to get even busier. It probably was one of the many rush hours in the city. Jaysin hated being in the middle of tight crowds, it made him a tad nervous for how many were so close together.
